Local resident flees from Police; Arrested for CDS

HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Hanover Township Police Officer Mike Byrnes arrested Ms. Parris Yaeger, 22, Whippany, for Possession of CDS, on Monday, August 26.

Ms. Yaeger was originally stopped for a motor vehicle violation when she decided to exit her vehicle and flee from Officer Byrnes.

Officer Byrnes gave chase and observed Ms. Yaeger running into her residence. After a brief delay, Ms. Yaeger eventually exited her residence and was placed under arrest.

She was charged with Obstruction, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Resisting arrest. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for Driving while suspended, Careless driving and CDS in a motor vehicle.

She was released pending her court date.
