HANOVER — Hanover offers a free Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Saturday, November 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the new Whippany Fire Department, 10 Troy Hills Road.

You do not have to be a resident to attend any of the Rabies Vaccination Clinics in Morris County.

Dr. Nate Clark of the Werner Animal Hospital will be administering the rabies vaccinations.  All animals must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the vaccination given will provide one year of protection for cats and dogs vaccinated for the first time and three years for cats and dogs being revaccinated.  Also, for pets that have already been vaccinated, the State Health Department advises that revaccinations be given every two years to ensure an overlap of immunity and prevent pet owners from missing the three-year revaccination date.

No reservations are required.  If you have any questions, please call the Township of Hanover Health Department at (973) 515-6667.
