RANDOLPH — Randolph Township will once again celebrate summer in a big way as the Randolph Recreation Department, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Randolph Township, hosts the 50th Annual Freedom Festival from Thursday, July 9 through Saturday, July 116.

The milestone event will take place at County College of Morris, Lot 1, located at 214 Center Grove Road, and will run nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. A rain date has been scheduled for Sunday, July 12.

Now in its 50th year, the Freedom Festival continues to be one of Morris County’s most anticipated summer traditions, drawing families from across the region for three evenings filled with entertainment, food, and community spirit.

Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of attractions, including rides, games, food vendors, beer, and live entertainment each night. The festival offers something for all ages, making it a popular destination for families, friends, and neighbors looking to celebrate together.

Live music will highlight each evening of the event. The schedule includes:

  • Thursday, July 9: Norton Smull Band
  • Friday, July 10: 80s Revolution
  • Saturday, July 11: DJ Nick & The Jerseytones

The weekend will culminate with a fireworks display on Saturday, July 11 at 9:45 p.m., lighting up the Randolph sky in celebration of both Independence Day and the festival’s 50-year legacy.

Organizers say the event not only provides entertainment but also serves as an opportunity to bring the community together while supporting local initiatives through Kiwanis, a global organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and communities.

With its combination of tradition, entertainment, and community pride, the Randolph Freedom Festival continues to be a signature summer event in Morris County.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and come out to celebrate this golden anniversary weekend.
