DOVER — The Dover Police Department has been awarded the Law Enforcement Wellness and Resiliency Grant from the State of New Jersey Office of Policing Strategy and Innovation.

The department said the grant represents an important investment in the health, well-being, and resilience of its officers and recognizes the importance of supporting those who serve the community every day.

“By prioritizing officer wellness and mental health, we strengthen not only our department but also our ability to provide professional, compassionate, and effective service to the residents of the Town of Dover,” the department stated.

“We thank the State of New Jersey for its commitment to law enforcement wellness and for recognizing the importance of ensuring that those who protect our community receive the support they deserve,” the department added. “Investing in our officers is investing in the safety and well-being of our entire community.”
